Since 2022, I’ve been reviewing and validating marketing and UX copy for a tech giant through Jellyfish. Acting as a brand guardian, I make sure the content is high-quality, on-brand, and culturally nuanced. So far, I’ve validated 198,000+ words.

My role as a copy validator entails:

  • Correcting spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes

  • Checking for mistranslations, inconsistencies, and banned terms

  • Addressing issues with style, tone of voice, and in-market resonance

  • Making sure the copy is clear, engaging, and inclusive

  • Assessing if visuals and colors work well for the target audience

  • Verifying alignment with the glossary and making sure terminology serves the copy’s purpose and intended impact

  • Ensuring adherence to project briefs, product-specific guidelines, and a 142-page Russian style guide
